RPCS participants in Chiang Mai

August 17-20, 2006 - RPCS participants Matias Ninkov (Argentina), Zelie Pollon (USA) and Richelieu Allison (Liberia) spent the weekends in Chiang Mai learning about Rotary project regarding educational issues among hill tribe people as well as enjoying the natural landscape, cultural and history the the old kingdom of Lan Na.

Different Peace and Conflict Related Issues

August 24-26, 2006 - RPCS invited various speakers to talk about different peace - and conflict - related issues. Ms.Siriporn Skrobanek (Foundation for Women) highlighted realities and cases of gender and conflict throughout the region, while Dr.Gothom Arya (Director, Research for Peace-Building Center) and Mr.Charnchao Chaiyanukij (Director-General, Rights and Liberties Protection Department) discussed issues, judicial system and problems of Southern Thailand. Base on his experience in Southern Thailand, Col.Songwit Noonpakdi shared with participants thories and cases on peacekeeping operation.

Session V: July to September 2008


Full and part funding for the participants
