Dr. Erik Melander,
Associate Professor at the Department of Peace and Conflict
Research, Uppsala University in Sweden began the week by
introducing the methodology of Conflict Mapping.
This module moves more in depth into the
assessment, analysis, and understanding of conflicts.
Conflicts can be difficult to assess and comprehend,
and this module will provide a background for classifying
and categorizing conflict. |

accepting applications
for its three-month certificate Rotary Peace and Conflict
Studies Program.
Session V: July to September 2008

Full and part funding for the participants
are provided by Rotary International. The deadline for application
is December 1, 2007.
