Oliver Ramsbotham, professor of Conflict Resolution from University of Bradford, taught the history of conflict resolution and guided the fellows on potential methods of solving all levels of conflicts |
Irene Santiago, Chief Executive Officer, Mindanao Commission on Women, observed the group discussion and taught the sessions on gender. |
Tom Woodhouse, professor of Conflict Resolution from University of Bradford, taught the theory and art of conflict resolution. |

During this module, fellows had several group discussions on fundamental concepts and values of peace and conflict studies. They also practiced their skills in a simulated situation which divided them into two different nations that required them to resolve their conflict while maintaining their national interests. |

Rotary Center Orientation January 17, 2009 |

| During the orientation, fellows introduced themselves in the ‘WHO ARE WE’ session together with their host counselors. They enjoyed sharing their experiences and learning about each other. |

Mohammad Shafqat presented the conflict in Kashmir. |

for its three-month certificate Rotary Peace and Conflict
Studies Program.
Session V: July to September 2008

Full and part funding for the participants
are provided by Rotary International. The deadline for application
is December 1, 2007.
