Phra Paisarn Visalo, the abbot at Wat Pa Sukato, is the representative of Buddhism perspective. He can illustrate life phenomena and Dharma principles explicitly and concretely causing many people to realize the importance of Dharma which should be studied and practiced. |
Dr. Satha-Anand is an associate professor at Thammasat University. He is the founder and director of the Peace Information Center, Foundation for Democracy and Development Studies and president of the Social Sciences Association of Thailand. |

Dr. Jehan Perera is presently the Executive Director of the National Peace Council of Sri Lanka (NPCSL). He taught the participants about Sri Lanka conflict. |
Mr. Chaiwat Thirapantu is the president of CIVICNET, a non-governmental organization network, which seeks to promote civil society in Thailand. As the find lecturer in the course, he taught about building networks and alliances and invited the participants to reflect on their course experiences. |

An Evening with Global Peacemakers
APRIL 10, 2008
| The Rotary Center for Peace and Conflict Studies graduated its third class of peace fellows on the 10th of April with an event hosted by Chulalongkorn University. The evening began with presentations by the participants. Over 80 guests including embassy dignitaries, Rotarians, university associates, and other affiliates of the program were in attendance. The evening focused on celebrating the graduates and their achievements throughout the course. The course graduates are professionals from eleven different countries in the fields of law, international development, and humanitarian assistance. They have come to Thailand under the sponsorship of the Rotary Foundation to study peace building and conflict resolution. |

| The presentations by participants, they are separated into four groups. They presented the different causes of the conflicts to the audiences. They invited their host counselors to join their presentations to show that the conflicts have many ways the resolve if you are willing to solve the conflicts. |

The Rotary Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at Chulalongkorn University is now accepting applications for its three-month certificate Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Program.
Session V: July to September 2008

Full and part funding for the participants
are provided by Rotary International. The deadline for application is December 1, 2007.
