The last field study trip of the Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Program (September 17-21, 2006) took the participants to experience the three Southern provinces.

Participants had opportunities to gain first hand information at local places and people including presentations and discussion at Southern Border Provinces Peace-Building Command, Yala Islamic College, Center for the Coordination of Assistance to Person Affected by the Unrest in the Deep South, Isara News Center and the Office of Educational Inspector (Region 12). Participants also visited Rotary-run Tsunami rehabilitation project in Krabi.
